Day 8 Today's Prayer Moment is drawn from 1 Kgs. 18:20-40 Father, we need Your Spirit's power. It is easy to get caught up in the cycle of mundane daily activities. We easily forget that Your purposes are bigger and that You can use one person to great effect. Stop us in our tracks today. Show us where we have separated from You. Remind us to confess our sins and cast our cares upon You. Infuse us with fresh devotion. In the midst of wolves, protect us by Your presence and teach us to speak the truth with grace and love. Make us into people who stand boldly for You like Elijah. We ask these things for Jesus' sake. Amen.
