At this very moment, over half the population of Zambia – a country where the average age is only 16.9 years old – is living below the poverty line.
More shocking still, there are over 2 million orphans and and many more vulnerable children in this African nation.
These boys and girls often suffer from a lack of care… or worse, a grave lack of concern for their well-being.
In fact, studies show that vulnerable and orphaned children are at a much higher risk of… - Little or no education
- Food insecurity and malnutrition
- Anxiety and depression
- Exposure to HIV
