Day 11

Today's Prayer Moment is drawn from Job 3.

Father, sometimes it seems as though there is no light beyond the darkness. It is easy for us to begin believing that You are no longer there and You no longer care. So I pray that You will minister in a deep way to those who are in a dark place at this time in their lives. Bring them a sense of comfort and remind them that there isn’t any pit so deep that You haven’t plumbed its depths. Ours is a dark world, one that’s fallen and lost its way. Give us compassion for those who can’t find their way home. Help us to be a light in their darkness, a hope in their hurt, and a rescue from their valley. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
