Day 3 Today's Prayer Moment is drawn from Deut. 12:4-7
Our Father, if this culture were a river, many of us would be drowning. We sometimes feel overwhelmed, outnumbered, and overshadowed by gigantic waves of change. But in the midst of our challenges we remember Your commitment to us, which is always greater than ours to You. Each and every day, there are always other gods vying for our attention. We cannot worship You in spirit and in truth unless You enable us to do so. So we come to You with our hands open and empty and with our hearts ready to be taught. May we forget about the cares of the past and the worries of the future as we focus only on You. Thank You for giving us what we don’t deserve, what we can never repay and cannot earn. Thank You for flooding us with Your favor over and above and beyond what we could even imagine. In the Savior’s name we pray. Amen. |
