Before the Coronavirus pandemic, Christians living in the Middle East and North Africa were already facing life-threatening challenges. Christianity is the most persecuted religion worldwide and Islamic extremism is the number one driver of persecution. | | | |

They recently asked us for flour so church members could survive on bread during this crisis. | | | • | Converts to Christianity are already ostracized and cut-off from family and jobs. Now they face lockdown, with no income or support. Our Field Team in Lebanon reported recently, “if we don’t help these people soon they will literally starve.” | | | • | We have also heard from women like Navah, a convert and mother of two. She is trapped at home and beaten by her husband daily during this lockdown. He is threatening to leave her and cut her off from their children when the pandemic ends. | | | | | | | | | |
