Day 1

Today's Prayer Moment is drawn from Exod. 12:40-42

By Your grace, Father, we have personally known our own exodus. We have been redeemed, bought by Christ’s blood, and delivered from lives of bondage, addiction, despair, and slavery to sin. How grateful we are.

That is why we rejoice, our Father, when we see a new beginning and find ourselves a part of it. Thank You for leading us from start to finish. Thank You for leading us when we didn’t even want to know You. Thank You for leading us when we were running from You. Thank You for delivering us from the pharaohs and the cruel taskmasters of our lives, and for bringing us to the Shepherd of our souls. He will guide us through the pilgrimage of life, until one day we will be with You in glory.

Father, we pause at this moment in quiet worship, remembering Your deliverance and acknowledging our utter dependence on You.

In the name of Jesus, amen.
