Isaiah 53:5-6

But he was wounded for ·the wrong we did [T our transgressions]; he was crushed for ·the evil we did [T our iniquities]. The punishment, which ·made us well [brought us wholeness/peace], was given to him, and we are healed because of his ·wounds [lacerations; T stripes; 1 Pet. 2:24]. We all have ·wandered away [T gone astray] like sheep; each of us has gone his own way [1 Pet. 2:25]. But the Lord has put on him ·the punishment for all the evil we have done [L all of our sins/iniquity].
