This book uses the text of Luke and Acts to introduce Jesus, the Great Physician, to people in hospitals. Before the coronavirus, one of our partner ministries in India shared this story of a widow named Mary, who was having to visit the hospital three times a week.
“She felt helpless, and her health was declining fast. She was unable to pay the hospital bills. She was lonely, and there was no one to help her. We couldn’t give her money, but we gave her a copy of A Physician’s Testimony. When we followed up, she shared how she was touched from the moment she started reading.
“She was suddenly hopeful and shared how, shortly after, she was informed that her medical bills were paid by someone. The bigger miracle is that her health has improved drastically and she only needs to visit the hospital on a monthly basis.
