The Virtue of Developing Good Will

The traits that encompass a good will are crucial to the development of one's own moral self-realization. Reason is elemental to developing a good will, but reason alone is not satisfactory, nor is rationality the end. The virtue of love, an authentic agape-level acceptance of others, is the ultimate attainment in Christian moral living, but it is impossible without an eternally forgiving and merciful Christlike example. Therefore any move to extricate Jesus from the foundations of morality is a significant barrier to moral change.
